She was the daughter of Edgar "Ed" and Louise Payne "Paynie" Patterson. The grave is on the land that is owned by the Patterson Family in 2001. A large field rock marks the grave which was under a tree in the field about 200 yards behind the old Patterson home currently owned and occupied by Douglas "Doug" O. and Katharine "Kit" Meredith at 2520 Old Pendleton Road. Anne died of a brain tumor at the age of 11 years old. She adored horses and was to share ownership of a colt with her brother. Anne went into a coma. She and the colt died the same day.
